A SARANDA HOUSE SINCE 2014
Mediterranean kitchen, private pebbles, lanterns at dusk — on Rruga Butrinti, twenty minutes north of Butrint.
THE HOUSE
We opened in 2014 on a quiet stretch of Rruga Butrinti, with a garden, a few tables on the pebbles, and the sea where Saranda begins to breathe again.
Twelve summers later, very little has changed. The kitchen still cooks Mediterranean — fish from the morning, octopus the Sicilian way, Petit Beef on the grill, pasta finished with the sea. The garden still fills with lanterns at dusk. And the sun still sets, every evening, behind Corfu.
You arrive for lunch. You stay until the lanterns are lit. That has always been the idea.
La Petite
THE BRAZIER
Charcoal, salt, fire. Nothing else gets between the meat and you.
THE BEACH
BEACH CLUB
Our pebbles are private. The day-beds face west, straight at Corfu, with parasols of straw and a waiter never far from the towels. Order an Aperol when you arrive. Order octopus when you're hungry. Order another bottle once the sea turns gold. That is the whole programme — and it works every afternoon from May to October.
Day-bed availability depends on the day. We confirm by WhatsApp.

TWENTY MINUTES NORTH OF THE RUINS
Butrint is twenty minutes south by car. It takes a long morning to walk through three thousand years of Greeks, Romans, Venetians and Ottomans, and most people come back to Saranda thirsty.
We are the obvious next stop. Park, sit, order a cold rosé, and watch Corfu while we put the rest together.
